Sweet Disposition

"So stay there, because I'll be coming over while our blood's still young, it's so young it runs. Won't stop till it's over, won't stop to surrender." - The Temper Trap

This song was featured in the movie 500 Days of Summer. I can so imagine the video everytime I hear this song. Although there is a music video already here's my vision:

A girl sitting on a park bench reading a book and all of a sudden she sees this guy standing a few feet away from her. Both begin to walk towards eachother and touch palms sending sparks. She pulls away from him and he sweeps her into his arms, and twirls her around in the air. Then the scene changes to a party where the band (The Temper Trap) is playing Sweet Disposition. They dance romantically while everyone else is dancing wildly to the chorus and he spins her again, this time letting go and loses her in a sea of people. They find each other again and kiss romantically. As the song is ending, the girl finds herself on the park bench again staring at the guy a few feet away from her.

All Those Pretty Lights

"Oh and I wanna remember this night, and how my words never came out right. It's just my patience that keeps me alive. Just like all those pretty lights just like all the pretty lights in the sky." - Andrew Belle

I heard this song thanks to the show Pretty Little Liars. I love the melody in the begiining of the song. It's just so soothing and mesmerizing. I think it's so cute when a guy gets all tongue tied when he's asking a girl out or telling her that he loves her or maybe even asking her to marry him. To me it lets you know that they aren't saying it just to say it. They actually mean what they're saying and they really want this thought to be conveyed as perfectly as possible-- so perfect that they mess up while saying it to you. <3

The Middle

"Maybe you'll save me. You're gonna take me from this daydream I've been painting."
-Demi Lovato

I remember listening to this song for the first time in 2008. I fell in love with it instantly. Everytime a girl likes a guy she starts to have fantasies about him. Okay maybe not EVERY girl but a lot of them do. And if they don't, then they fantasize about celebrities. The guy who actually comes along and saves us from these fantasies is amazing. I mean, do you know what it's like to crush on a guy and then two weeks later have him crushing your lips in a dream then later reality? That must be amazing. I hope one day that will happen to me. <3

Stephen

"Stephen, why won't you call me? Sitting here waiting. Why won't you call me?" -Kesha

So this is one of Kesha's serious songs. I always wondered who invented the 'Don't call a girl until after 72 hours' rule. It's so stupid! What if that girl decides to date another guy since this one doesn't call her back, huh? Then he'll feel stupid. It reminds me of the movie 'He's Just Not That Into You' when Ginnifer's character waits at the phone for this guy to call her. It's pathetic. Why would a guy who is really into you make you wait? I would think he's not into me and just forget about him.

Kiss and Tell

"You got me twisted with your lips now are you gonna kiss and tell?" -Justin Bieber

So this song is only on the deluxe edition of My World 2.0. If it weren't for youtube I wouldn't know it. I love it when people kiss and tell! I wanna know the details! Where his/her lips soft? Did you like it? Where, when, tongue, peck? I like to hear eveything! And I would kiss and tell too. Sorry Justin. Could you make one exception? Lol.

Love And Affection

"I just don't understand why my love isn't good enough for you, I want you to show me love and affection, love and affection, easing the tension, with love, love and affection." -Neon Trees

First of all let me mention how amazing Neon Trees are! I just heard their song from the Camp Vegas commercial a few days ago called "Animal" and instantly fell for this band. This song "Love And Affection" is crazy-cool. The first part just held my ears and never let them go. I can't get it out of my head. I can so imagine a guy asking his girlfriend why his love isn't good enough after a breakup or after she tells him that she isn't interested. Even maybe after he finds her cheating. That would be epic. The look on her face would be either A)confused because his love is good enough, it's her love that isn't, B)scared that she left a horrible scar on his heart and that he will go on thinking this forever, or if she has absolutely no heart at all, C)annoyed that he's bothering to ask. The possibilities are endless when it comes to Neon Trees lyrics. And btw. Happy 4th of July!
